About Us

Kelsey and Andrew have always had a desire to start a charity, and during a walk in their neighborhood in the Summer of 2020 they began talking about what to do with a Ford Mustang engine Andrew had recently adopted off the internet. Andrew told Kelsey he didn’t have much use for it so he intended to rebuild it and donate it to a charity. Kelsey suggested creating a charity of their own that somehow merges Andrew’s passion for cars with the compassion they both share for the men and women who protect our communities. By the time they returned home, Kelsey was eagerly drawing up logos to match the name of their newly incepted foundation, “Buildz 4 Badges”. Andrew and Kelsey have many friends and family members who serve and have served as first responders and they found this as a way to thank them and their teams for the selfless sacrifices they make on a daily basis that allow us to go to sleep feeling safe at night. At the peak of a time when our society has turned its back on these brave men and women, Kelsey and Andrew turned towards them with reassurance that they are supported and loved by their communities.
